The Next-Gen Dodge Charger is set to redefine what it means to be a high-performance car, combining iconic Dodge design with cutting-edge technology and a groundbreaking electric powertrain. Electrified Performance
The upcoming Dodge Charger will be the world’s first all-electric muscle car. The Dodge Charge Daytona Scat Pack will feature two electric motors, one for each axle, plus a 100.5 kWh high-voltage battery — altogether, that adds up to 670 horsepower. With 627 lb-ft of torque giving the vehicle an instant jolt right out of the gate, it’ll be able to hit 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and achieve a quarter-mile time of 11.5 seconds.
Drivers hesitant to go fully green need not worry, though — the Dodge Charger Sixpack will still offer a gas-powered variant of the Next-Gen Dodge Charger. Its twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine promises up to 550 horsepower.
Technology Meets Tradition
The Next-Gen Dodge Charger isn’t your grandfather’s muscle car. The interior features advanced technology like a driver-focused cockpit and state-of-the-art infotainment system. The clean, minimal design also has an available Attitude Adjustment Lighting and refined textures throughout.
Drivers will be able to choose from many configuration options, from available Black or Demonic Red performance-inspired leather-trimmed front seats. You can also elect for either a two-door or four-door model.
But that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the things that made muscle cars popular in the first place, like the sound of the engine revving up. Thanks to a Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, even the all-electric versions of the new Dodge Charger deliver a roar as iconic as a V8 engine.
